If you’re taking part in our pilot year as part of the HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax Self Assessment (ITSA) process, we want to remind all members that Quarter 2 ends on 30 September.

After this date, you’ll receive a notification that the quarter has ended, and it’s time to ensure you:

  • Review and finalise your accounts for the quarter
  • Prepare to submit them well before the 31 October deadline

Submitting early helps avoid last-minute issues and will keep you fully compliant with HMRC requirements.

Remember: During the trial, no data is submitted to HMRC. This is a period to allow you to prepare and get used to the changes coming from next April.

If you have any questions or need help with the MTD process, our team is here to support you. Don’t leave it until the last moment—start preparing now!

MalgraBooks is a UK online bookkeeping and tax platform built for self-employed Slimming World Consultants. More than 800 use it, and it has been running for over a decade.

Its Pulse system lets members keep their accounts, upload their Weekly Franchise Accounts and send Making Tax Digital updates straight to HMRC, and MalgraBooks is recognised by HMRC for MTD.
