Over this weekend, we’ll be releasing Pulse v1.69. Below are details of the changes coming to this new version.
Weekly Account Viewer
This will become the ‘default’ option for uploading your accounts.
Currently those with access to the ‘Pilot’ screen within Our World can download a PDF of their figures. Pulse can use these numbers and works out all group fees, including sundries which have been a pain point for many years.
We understand that this has been rolled out to all consultants, so is a great opportunity to move to this new system and layout – as it makes things quicker and easier for you to prepare your accounts.
The Bulk Upload tool is also helpful to process several weeks worth of data.
The option to enter monthly will still be available, however we recommend using the weekly function for exact dates, especially if you are subject to MTD or any reporting which needs specific dates (like Universal Credit) as SW months don’t always match calendar ones.
Receipt Scanning
This will be available to all members on our mobile app. This allows you to scan your receipts using your mobile phone and Pulse will automatically work out the details, categorise the expense and attempt to calculate the value to add to your accounts ledger.
For the remainder of May, and for June 2026, scans are unlimited. From 1 July, there will be limits to the number of receipts which can be scanned depending on your package due to the processing power needed to offer this feature.
Login with a passcode
To enhance security, you may now be asked to login to your MalgraBooks account using a passcode. This will be either sent to your mobile phone or email when logged out, if you attempt to login on a new device, or after a certain duration.
Your data is important to us, and this is another element of security to ensure only authorised individuals can access your account.
Emails are sent from our support mailbox. If you cannot locate the email, please ensure you check your spam box and ‘whitelist’ our malgrabooks.co.uk domain.
