At MalgraBooks, the security of your account and your financial data is something we take very seriously. As the threats facing online systems continue to grow, we are committed to staying ahead of them — and that means making some important improvements to how Pulse is protected.
We wanted to give you advance notice of two changes that will be coming to your account in the near future.
Two Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account beyond just your password. When you log in, you will be asked to confirm your identity using a second step — typically a short code sent to your phone or generated by a free app. This means that even if someone were to guess or obtain your password, they still would not be able to access your account without also having your phone.
It only takes a few seconds at login and is one of the most effective ways to keep your account safe. We will guide you through setting it up when the time comes — it is straightforward and we will be on hand to help.
Access Outside the UK — Additional Verification Required
As MalgraBooks is a UK-based service used exclusively by UK consultants, the vast majority of login attempts from overseas are unfortunately from malicious sources rather than genuine users. To protect your account, we have introduced controls that detect when a login is being attempted from outside the United Kingdom.
If you are travelling abroad and need to access Pulse, you will simply be required to complete an additional verification step to confirm it is really you. This small extra step helps us ensure that your data stays in the right hands, wherever you are in the world.
