Member Support Coordinator

Job Description

We’re looking for a Member Support Coordinator to join our friendly team at MalgraBooks. Our members are at the heart of everything we do, and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent support — responding to queries, guiding people to helpful resources, and being a warm, professional representative of our company.

This is a part-time remote role of 10 hours per week, with the flexibility to work those hours across Monday to Friday. If you’re based in Manchester, you’re also welcome to work from our city centre office.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to member emails and support queries
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with our members
• Guide members to relevant support articles and self-help resources
• Support our online Facebook community via our main group
• Respond to member contact via Live Chat
• Provide advice and guidance to new members on product options
• Identify member needs and suggest appropriate packages
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our packages and general UK taxation (training available)
• Monitor member satisfaction and take appropriate action to support retention
• Handle complaints confidently and escalate where required
• Work collaboratively to resolve member issues

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

• Excellent standard of written and spoken English
• Experience of providing support remotely — via email or messaging platforms
• A warm, professional manner with a genuine desire to help people
• Ability to think on your feet and make sensible decisions independently

Desirable

• General knowledge of UK taxation
• Knowledge of Slimming World Consultant back-office activities and systems
